Wow! Thats all I got to say is Wow! No, I have more to say So I drove my boys and friends up from LA and googled a place to eat while they boarded. After walking through their little center town and feeling like this is just way too touristy, not what I'm looking for. I settled for this little hole in the wall. I had to wait quite a bit for my sandwich. I got the Reuben on rye and holy crap!!! I tried to just eat half, there was no way! it was so delicious!! I can't wait to go up there with my husband and take him to this fantastic hidden gem of a sandwich spot!!! Next time I will wait for a table 1000% worth it.

This is a small little sandwich place and it does get very busy. Food was okay at least for me. I ordered french toast with strawberries and well it had a little too much egg taste. My strawberries tasted like they were sliced with same knife as they chopped onions or something. Didn't enjoy my breakfast. My parents and kids definitely enjoyed theirs. Plus, the service was great, young lady seemed to be alone when we got there because she was working the cashier, cleaning tables and also as the server. Reason why I am not giving anything lower than a 4 star. More employees started arriving as it was really getting busy, they already had a line outside of ppl trying to go in. Recommended for their sandwiches, steak, omelettes but just not their french toast.

The breakfast here is really good. Ordered the traditional breakfast and biscuits and gravy - very tasty. There are about twelve booths and the staff do a great job getting folks seated, but there can be a line. They also serve lunch and dinner, with a great variety of vintage sodas. Shares parking lot in the Stater Bros. shopping center.

Great quantity, good quality, good value. Came here for a takeout lunch while all my friends and I were visiting Big Bear. Expecting expensive prices and small quantities I was slightly surprised by the large quantity of food I got. Ultimately the lunch costed around $20 bucks but I was very satisfied with the meal I got. Salisbury Steak: Umami, rich, filling, hefty. The Salisbury Steak dinner came with a big ground beef patty, mashed potatoes, and green beans topped with a thick gravy that included mushrooms and onions. I was looking for something for value and had a lot of protein and this hit both my check marks. I was extremely satisfied with my order and would recommend this for anyone who is trying to meet their protein macros! Side Salad: Light, citrusy, refreshing. The side salad was honestly unremarkable. The vinaigrette wasn't anything necessarily special and the salad included a bunch of lettuce and some tomato slices. It's nice as an add on to help you feel a bit more full but it's nothing to write home about. The line here was long and it took maybe half an hour close to 45 minutes to order and get our food. The employees were quick with the service and did not disappoint. There was a dining area which had a nice classic American diner aesthetic but we didn't end up dining in.
